    AFL Victoria

    The AFL Herald Sun Shield Official Launch was held at the Richmond Football Club. Staff & Students from St James & St Francis Xavier attended the presentations by VFL Richmond coaching staff. SIS premier teams participated in the senior & intermediate, girls & boys competitions. Padua represented SIS in the intermediate girls & boys and the senior girls competition.  The senior boys team was represented by St Francis Xavier. Congratulations to all students that were selected for an opportunity to play at the AFL HSS level. We are so very proud of you - Thank you !

    Art & Technology Exhibition

    A highlight of the year, is the SIS Art & Technology Exhibition at Cube 37 Gallery, Frankston Arts Centre.  Textiles, Media, Paintings, Ceramics, Woodwork, Photography, Drawings are some of the forms on display.  The 2019 exhibition opens on Saturday, 9 November.

    IMPROVISATION is FUN... 2019 Theatresports Champions... it is no easy feat to put yourself onto that stage with no idea what's going to happen - our student's do it and they do it with passion and humour! Congratulations to the senior Flinders-Tyabb team 'Outcasts through history' & the junior Flinders Tyabb team 'Fairytale Folks'.

    Cornish College were the 2019 Division B Champions swimming ahead of the competition & winning by 151 points.  Congratulations to all students & we look forward to Cornish returning to the Division A competition in 2020.

    SIS students proudly accepted the opportunity to represent SIS at this year's Victorian Sports Association Competition.  All 13 SIS schools were represented & the 56 students competed with great sportsmanship.  Tamara Taukiri received a 3rd place & broke 1 SIS record in U/13 backstroke.  Congratulations to all students.

    Every year our talented student chefs plate up dishes that astonish our judges from the Australian Culinary Federation.  St John's College were the 2019 SIS Teen Chef Champions & we congratulate them for winning this prestigious event.

    Performing Arts Concert after

    Congratulations to all students involved in the BIG Night Concert at the Drum Theatre on Tuesday, 26 March.  Another very successful evening of music and dance, our students were impressive with the  variety of items this year including - percussion ensemble, duets, stage bands, singing/dance ensembles, concert band, choir.
